Makin’ Waves was established on February 01 1988, created by two friends Stuart Joblin and Douglas Patterson. The idea behind Makin’ Waves grew from a University course feasibility study on cotton surf shorts and has grown into the biggest and best Active lifestyle/ Surf Shop in Bermuda. Today Makin’ Waves has three locations. The main store is located at 75 Front Street in Hamilton (441-292-4609) The first satellite store located at the Clock Tower Mall in Dockyard (441-234-5319) The newest satellite store located at 32 Water Street in St. Georges (441-297-0546) Douglas and Stuart travel to the fashion ‘hot spots’ of North America several times a year to gather the eclectic mix of fun, function and fashion that Makin’ Waves has come to be known for.
